The slideshow below was created as a way to inform parents of some of the potential dangers* of social media, their responsibilities as parents, and the steps they can take to keep their children safe.

*Disclaimer: I am aware, and in agreement, that there are many, many positive uses of social media. However, my observations of my own middle and high school students over the past few years have made me realize that there is a lot more negative than positive happening right now. It is crucial for us to get teens’ social media use and safety knowledge under control.
