Welcome to Coding, where we will spend the year exploring the principles of computer science and various different coding languages and platforms! This is a semester course.

Please refer to my Class Procedures and Expectations for complete overview.

Daily Practices

Tardies: Come to class on time.  This means you are INSIDE the classroom before the bell rings.  Your first two tardies will be considered warnings; every tardy after that will result in a teacher detention from 2:10 – 2:30 pm.

-Bring headphones (see me if this is a problem). Headphones are NOT to be worn during instruction, and are to be used for necessary classwork.

Google Classroom will be used for all of our class documents, links, assignments, etc.  You must check Google Classroom daily.

-Check SchoolBrains and your School Email regularly.

-Students are responsible for making up any missed assignments.

Cell Phones:

Please refer to the Cell Phone Policy outlined in your Student Handbook. To summarize, your phones may not be used or even in sight unless a teacher specifically tells you to use it for an educational purpose.

If your cell phone is proving to be a distraction, you will be asked once to put it away. Subsequent incidents will result in detention, confiscation, and/or office referrals.
